Yay finally a short getaway planned by me, Ah Na and Justin. They brot their family along too =)
7-11 Aug 09 Bintan Trip - Location Banyan Biru Villa Samudra2 under my COY's designated villa.
Managed clear my 500 passes and i can go enjoy myself @ ease with countless OTs.
1st holi trip wif my 15yrs+ dars and their family =D
Thu nite, Ah Na came to drive me to her hse and TON as usual. Went her hse GIANT thea and bot some tidbits, canned food. Uncle Vin stayed behind look after Tiff. we gals go can shop at ease! Justin in charge of dairies and drinks. Set off early noon and met up wif Justin and family - Auntie Susan - His Mama and Bro - Martin and Auntie Shirley - Ah Na's Mama @ Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Uncle Vin gotta work but he still drove us thea and came over to look for us nxt dae! This is reali the 1st time i going wif so many ppl hurhur! Believe it anot..its my "virgin" time to take the ferry LOL. (Will attach pics cos too many, those have fb oredi seen le, less Elvin dun hav..so will load some here and for my own remembrance oso).
Accordin to Justin, we had lugged over 40kg of RATION FOOD whoa!!! Poor him and bro carrying and of cos we all helped too ! On the ferry itself got a food kiosk counter. Imagine 1 can of COKE - $2.50, but ppl still will patronise le..gd biz lor.
Ouch! Luckily we got standby ourselves. But Ah Na with some consideration, she oso bot the drink LOL. Ya Last min we bot beer @ the ferry terminal to Ta @ the villa!
55 mins journey..we relaxed and i looked outside the scenery, so sweet of Trish and Serene to text me to njoy my short trip! Scenery reali nice...i realised i am reali a sea lover leh !
Finally reached our destination, we got dwn the ferry felt so afreshed and excited for these upcoming few daes getaway! Though ppl say can romantic with ur partner in Bintan..i feel dat i go with besties oso can be romantic and fun in another way ma =0
We queued up to cross the custom and thereafter were greeted by the VILLA staff to arrange to help us carry our luggage up the coach bus. It was a 3 seater coach..me , Ah Na and Tiff shared! Can tell Tiff very excited oso..thruout in the coach..she will go See Mummy..See Yi Yi..cute rite? =) The roads were reali bumpy but luckily the driver was skilful so yup everything under ctrl!
After 15 mins..finally arrived at Nirwana Gdns hotel - My coy villa rite inside the vicinity so we had to wait for someone to bring us thea. I went to do the check-in procedures..the rest waited @ the lobby served wif a complimentary PINEAPPLE drink..i find it too diluted so i forgo. To my excitement..we needed to take a buggy to go to our VILLA..so gd svc rite? I so sua ku oso 1st time.. seein the greenery ard me..i can tell BINTAN was reali the rite place for us to rest and relax ! The buggy had to go 2 times to fetch us all 7 ppl.
Heh heh, I holding the VILLA key.. to play safe and a kind of taboo..i knocked on the door and Ah Na's Mama followed on by saying we came to stay few nites only..sorry to intrude.. yeah..its a 2 storey villa..everyone was so elated and put dwn their luggage and chiong upstairs to choose rooms and to explore the place. Me of cos do same stuffs as usual...took out my cam and started to take pics everywhere! Ultimately i would hav a room to zzz, so y bother LOL. 1st nite..I bunked with Tiff and Ah Na (Uncle Vin nt here ma) and my so many 1st times given to her leh.. hahahahha! Reali fun cos we chatted thruout the nite..and slept together..Hmm Tiff kept kicking me so i dint reali zzz well..and she would on off come hug me hahaha... *awkward feelin* but felt sweet. Ah Na lamented i zzz on the wrong side of the bed cos bac @ hm, Ah Na would be kicked by her @ dat direction! Nw i see..no wonder lo!! @_@
Oh only master rm - Ah Na's rm got bath tub..but thruout the 3 days stay, i dint use cos i am nt reali a bathtub gal. After settling dwn, we went out to walk walk and see see. Heard frm the staff dat there would be a hard to bump into event - RELEASE BABY SEA TURTLES. Of cos we wanted to hav an eye opener! So ard Bintan time 5pm...we slowly strolled to the beach to witness this event! Can see mountains of tourists all awaiting for the moment. 1st, the Emcee and assist asked 1 Ang Moh Boy to join in with them the diggin out of baby turles in the sand..den after dat put it in a pail and we were directed to go to the beach thea. Den..yeah the baby turtles were released and could see them slowly crawling towards the sea and off they go swimming..bye...gd luck turtles wherever U go... =) Reali Tiny ones and we all clapped for the 1st to reach ..so fun!!
Yeah, our tummies rumbling..time to eat dinner lo... wanna try the resort de cafes or restaurants but all in SG rates and no pt waste $...so we jus walked ard and asked the resort for more affordable makan places. And lucky us within 10 mins of resort walk, there was this air con eatery serving chinese food, jap food and western food too! Price in SGD but standard considered nt bad le. I had sea food E mee $7..damn big claypot but i still managed to hoot finish..mayb too hungry liao! The sotong malay cashier gal took very long time to giv us our bill cos she kept calculated wrongly. Can tell she reali sotong hahaha..luckily her manager came over to assist her!
After dinner..walked ard and decided to go bac villa to rest. The rest all turned in early too except me and Martin- late nite meowers.. hahaha..ok will blog part 2 again !
1st dae we just planned to relax and explore ard..reali walked ard the compound. Nxt dae would be bringing Tiff to play water in the pool and hitting the beach! ^_________________^
I realised i do miss him2 but well with so many ppl ard me..i gonna hav fun 1st!
